  • Feature: Improved RentRoll Report. Now you can customize the report yourself, by adding 3 income categories of your choice. For example, you could choose Rent, Section 8, and Late Fee. The Rent Roll Report would then show a total collected from each of these categories for the selected month. You can also now choose to display on this report, either square footage of each unit, or number of bedrooms.

  • Special Feature: New Rent History report! Shows total collected per month for each property. Nice summary of collections by property. The sums in each field are based on total collected toward charges within each month. Find it on the Building Financial Folder.
  • Feature: Now you can choose if you want future charges to show or not on invoices and/or Detailed Payment History. Just go to Options on the menu bar and choose "Show future charges" or not.
  • If you type in an incorrect date in the date paid field of the Income form it will be changed for you. For example, you can not type in the year 199.
  • Feature: Meter readings will now show on invoices.
  • Feature: Cut and paste will now work in data grids such as the Expense Form and Check Register.

  • Feature: You can now change the words zip code and social security throughout RentRight. If you use postal code for example, just go to File on the menu bar and choose International Settings. Type in "postal code" and the words zip code will be replaced on all screens in RentRight.

  • RentRight will ask if you are sure, if you enter a duplicate check number in a checking account. This will prevent accidentally re-entering the same series of checks.

  • Much Requested Feature: The Vacancy Report is now a Vacancy Loss report and includes the total rent lost since the unit was vacant, as well as listing any new prospective tenants for this unit.(You must fill in a move out date for tenants in order for the report to be useful).

  • Special Feature: Now you may type in a unit number on the income form and it will pull up the tenant who currently resides in that unit for payment entry.
  • Special Feature: Added ability to type your own custom messages on the bottom of tenant invoices.
  • The word apartment was removed from reports and screen and replaced with "Unit"- due to the large number of mobile home parks, storage units, commercial properties etc. requesting this.

  • Summary Income Report: If no end date is specified then the balance is calculated by adding any unpaid charges up to today’s date plus any charges paid ahead. If an end date is specified, only charges that are before the end date are included in the calculation. A negative balance indicates that they have paid ahead. This can not happen if an End Date has been specified.
  • Feature Added ability to put in 3 letters in "state" field for Canada, New Zealand and others who need 3 spaces there.
